Dicha moción sigue abierta a la firma y es probable continúe recibiendo más adhesiones. Igualmente remito a V.E. fotocopia de la carta que el Secretario General del Partido Laborista, Ron Hayward, ha dirigido al Director de la Casa de España en Londres expresando su satisfacción por el fracaso del intento golpista en España y manifestando su apoyo a la democracia española en términos semejantes a los de la moción parlamentaria antes mencionada. We believe, however, that threats to Spain's elected government still remain. For our part we are watching carefully the political situation in Spain and we are prepared to do everything in our power to preserve and protect democracy and the rights of working people to freely organise in Spain. The Spanish people have the right to live under the democratic constitution they have approved in a referendum. There must be no return to Franco.
